BR DONATES 10 STEEL BENCHES TO PEKENENE CJSS

 Today, Botswana Railways donated 10 steel benches to Pekenene CJSS in Mahalapye, supporting the school’s need for additional furniture and creating a more conducive environment for learners.The donation was made by Botswana Railways Management and Engineering teams as part of the organisation’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, which seeks to strengthen community partnerships and contribute to the development of future generations.Speaking on behalf of Botswana Railways, Director Business Development Mr. Semabale Tladi said the initiative demonstrates the organisation’s commitment to supporting communities in which it operates.Receiving the donation, Pekenene CJSS School Head Mr. Otukile expressed appreciation, noting that the school faces shortage of furniture therefore, the benches will provide much-needed support to learners and for other school activities.The handover was witnessed by Area Councillor Mr. Ramagapu, school management and Botswana Railways representatives, including Acting Director Engineering Mr. Eric Machola. The initiative forms part of Botswana Railways’ continued efforts to create a positive and lasting impact in the communities it serves.
