BOTSWANA RAILWAYS PARTICIPATES AT THE BITC GLOBAL EXPO

Botswana Railways, together with its subsidiaries Sea Rail and BR Properties, proudly participated in the BITC Global Expo 2025, held from October 8–11, 2025, at Ditshupo Hall in Gaborone. Organised by the Botswana Investment and Trade Centre (BITC), the Expo brought together local and international businesses, investors, and industry leaders to explore opportunities for trade, investment, and collaboration. Botswana Railways, participation in the Expo provided a strategic platform to foster partnerships that drive economic growth, innovation, and industrial transformation, both within Botswana and across the Southern African region.This year’s edition once again showcased Botswana’s growing potential as a regional business and logistics hub. The Expo also created a valuable space for Botswana Railways to interact with participants, exchange ideas, and explore collaborative opportunities that promote efficient and sustainable transportation solutions. These engagements reflect the organization’s ongoing efforts to take services closer to the people while supporting the nation’s broader economic development agenda.
