Botswana Railways Management took a step back from the day-to day operations to relook the 2020-2024 strategic plan and re-align to the strategy requirements today. A three-day retreat session under the theme, “Reset, Reclaim Seporo Same” was organised and facilitated by LEAD Consultants. The exercise was meant for BR to identify new value-creating opportunities and provided an opportunity to assess the strategic foundations on which our business is built. This revised strategy emphasizes employee engagement, stakeholder engagement, building collaborative partnerships and relationships and most importantly leveraging technology and available resources to increase tonnage and profitability for improved financial sustainability. The revised strategic plan will be cascaded to all employees.
