STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN BR AND ARC BEARS FRUIT

Botswana Railways (BR) and African Railway Company (ARC) have successfully commissioned 10 refurbished fuel tankers following a comprehensive maintenance program. These wagons will play a crucial role in ensuring a stable fuel supply, supporting Botswana’s economic growth. ARC has invested in the refurbishment of these tankers, which will be used to transport fuel from Matola, Mozambique, through the Limpopo Corridor into Botswana. This initiative strengthens regional trade and enhances the efficiency of fuel transportation, reinforcing Botswana’s energy security.
