Trade up North Mining and Construction Expo

Botswana Railways participated in the first Trade Up North Mining and Construction Expo that was held from 24th - 26th July 2018, at Adansonia Hotel, Francistown.

Officiating at the event, the Francistown City Mayor, Ms. Sylvia Muzila noted that the expo was expected to play a pivotal role in helping Batswana link with a broad spectrum of countries and create a platform in minerals development with the desired result being to shape and grow a better mining and construction sector.

In an interview with this publication, the BR Acting Marketing and Sales Manager, Ms. Gaone Kepadisa noted that the expo was a great opportunity for BR to connect with their different stakeholders including the public and the suppliers who might be interested in knowing more about Botswana Railways services.

BR exhibition focused on freight, blue mark, passenger services and container services. Other Exhibitors included Debswana, Total Botswana, Ministry of Minerals and Energy Resources.
